What is the total amount of the deposit to secure a spot, and what are the payment options?

The price will vary depending on how many week days the starting month has. Currently we charge $22 a day, so the initial payment is usually between $460 to $500.

We work with an app called Lillio, all parents are required to sign up for pre-authorized debit payments. This is how we collect payments.

3

What does the Registration process look like? How do I secure my spot?

To enroll your child, the process is the following: First, you will need to email us to receive the registration package. After you go through it, please fill the forms and send them back to us. We will use this informtion to create a profile for your child in Lillio. Right after, you will receive an email from Lillio to finish registering, and adding your bank information for pre-authorized debit payments. Please let us know when you have done this step, and we will proceed to create an invoice for the first month of care. Once the payment is made, the spot is secure.

What do we need to take on the first day?

You will need the following: Indoor and Outdoor shoes, Water bottle, Blanket, Extra clothing, Pack of wipes, Pack of diapers.

If applicable: Milk bottle, Diaper cream, Sunscreen, Formula.

5

What is the ideal drop-off time? What about pick-up?

Pick up and drop-off times are flexible. However, we ask parents send a message to the teachers if you're coming after 9.30 a.m.

Moreover, we have nap time from 12 to 2 p.m. everyday, we recommend and kindly ask parents to please avoid drop-off or pick up during these times.

6

To aid the transition process, are the children allowed to stay a shorter amount of time?

Yes, we actually encourage shorter days during the first week. We recommend increasing the amount of time gradually. Usually being 2-3 hours on the first day; after lunchtime on the second or third day. Then, after nap/afternoon snack the day after, and so on until making it to a full day.

7

Are the parents required to stay with our child for a bit on their first day?

It is completely okay to stay for a few minutes to talk with the teachers. However, we ask parents to drop off and leave soon after. The reasoning behind this is that it will help the children feel secure in a new environment, knowing their parents won’t be at daycare with them, but will come back later.

8

How long will the daycare be closed for Winter Break?

For Christmas break we are always closed from the last Friday before December 24th, until January 2nd. Please note the daycare can only be closed for a maximum of 2 weeks at a time, the days may vary depending on the year.

9

In order to meet the 12 month enrollment requirement does a child have to start on their first birthday or any day following?

Regarding the start date, babies can start the month they turn 1 year old. As long as they turn one during the month they start it follows the 12 month enrollment rule.

10

How should I pack my child’s belongings for daycare? Should I bring a bag or a backpack?

When packing belongings we ask families to label all their child's items. Most of the items will stay in the classroom or be placed into their cubbies. Items like milk bottles, water bottles, and sleep sacks/blankets, will be sent home on Fridays. So, the choice between a bag or backpack is up to your convenience.

11

How should I pack formula for my child to have at daycare?

There are 2 options here: The first option is to bring a formula container, labelled with your child’s name, with instructions on how to use, how much, etc. The second option is to bring the amount you want us to use everyday, you can pack it in a small container or milk bottle, labelled with the child’s name as well.

12

Are there cameras in the daycare? Do parent's get access?

Yes, there are cameras in every room, as well as the playground. However, we do not give access to families. All the cameras' live feed are displayed at all times in the office.
